This tour is part of the VCKC Spring Picnic. Exact launch time will be announced during the picnic, in conjunction with other activities.

We're offering this tour as an orientation to the waterways of Lake Griffin State Park, with the hope you'll return for one of our guided eco-tours, a Kayak 101 class, or a sunset tour. You're also welcome to come back and rent a kayak from the park's official concessioner.

You may bring your own PFD and paddle, if you prefer.

Explore the quiet waters of Lake Griffin State Park by kayak with our Florida State Parks Certified Paddle Tour Guides. Experience the wonder of this important wetlands ecosystem as we look for and identify the many wading and flying birds, land-based and aquatic plants, massive trees, and other native and exotic species.

When you arrive, there is a $5.00 Park entrance fee per car.

Bring water to drink.

Wear shoes that can get wet.

Guides do not accept tips.
